我覺得只有學(xué)藝術(shù)的來(lái)看，市民們很少去美術(shù)館看，應(yīng)該多倡導(dǎo)一下。學(xué)藝術(shù)的自己玩始終不是個(gè)事兒啊。湖北美術(shù)館很好，很棒，有些老師的作品都在里面展覽。美術(shù)館外面的交通風(fēng)景什么的也不錯(cuò)，感覺應(yīng)該可以繼續(xù)發(fā)展一下，吸引更多人，要不然美術(shù)館總是冷冷清清的。

武漢的藝術(shù)家不少，可藝術(shù)館卻只有寥寥幾個(gè)。當(dāng)代藝術(shù)的場(chǎng)地也主要是武漢美術(shù)館和湖北美術(shù)館。相比之下，湖北美術(shù)館的面積和活動(dòng)的數(shù)量上還是很有優(yōu)勢(shì)的。

Good way to spend a few hours in the city, if you like art. There are 4 floors and each has a different theme. It's close to the Provincial Museum so you can see both at a great price, free. The art is great and they have ancient Chinese writing, which I couldn't appreciate like those that can write the language.

We visited the Hubei Museum of Art with our daughter & some of her co-workers. The modern exhibits throughout the building demonstrate a new tolerance, on the part of the government, in regard to art as a political and social statement. We found this to be refreshing, since in our own lifetimes, much art, literature, and social criticism has been repressed or even punished. On the other hand, one of the galleries showed a very "whitewashed" summary of the evolution of art during the Cultural Revolution, starting in 1911. Their descriptions glorified the "accomplishments" of the new government sponsored art programs (neatly dodging the truth of the persecutions of those who disagreed with them). Several of the galleries showcased ancient art forms, such as carvings, traditional paintings, and ceramics. This is definitely worth a stop during an afternoon spent at East Lake. The museum is not large, so most people will probably only need a couple of hours to peruse it. Those deeply interested in Chinese art will need more time.

The art Museum is amazing place in Wuhan, located right next to picturesque East Lake and had very nice exhibitions going on when I visited.

博物館のとなりの大きな美術(shù)館です。たくさんの人が住んでいるだけあって展示品もよいが、なんといっても美術(shù)館の外にある関羽と孔明の大きな像が気に入った。そういえば孔明の出身地ってこの辺ですよね。三國(guó)志ファンとしてはこれが見れただけで今回の旅が満足なものといえるほどでした。
