道證法師發(fā)大愿，在各界善心人士添磚加瓦的努力，修繕了雷音寺。。如果問我新舊寺院，我肯定還是偏愛原來的老建筑多一些。新的仿唐寺院建筑，和陜西大云寺，西涼博物館，臺灣慈航法寺，同出一格。老寺院的風霜是無法被復制的。

看過西游記道德人都知道，書中有一處地點叫雷音寺是西天經(jīng)書和眾佛的所在地，它確實存在于現(xiàn)實生活中，就位于敦煌，這是一座千年古剎，寺中供奉有西天佛祖，極具神秘的氣息，感興趣的來看看。

很好很肅凈，去了之后人不多，但是各種佛像讓人就立馬感覺很不一樣，和世俗世界完全有別，雖然在城市中，但是感覺里極樂世界很近，讓人心無雜念，一心拜佛，祈求平安。

We walked to this temple from our hotel - Dunhuang Silk Road Hotel - after I read a book on its construction in the hotel room. We do not know much about Buddhism and basically nothing about Buddhist temples except what we were told touring the Mogao site in the morning.After entering and happily identifying some of the statues, I agreed to buy incense sticks and to learn how to light them and how to pray - no verbal translation necessary. An old lady took me by the hand and led me throughout all the temples and courtyards, stopping at important Buddah statues, kneeling and bowing three times - each time! It was an incredible experience I will never forget!
